The second stage of quarantine easing. What will open in Ukraine and Kyiv after May 22 and what bans will be lifted
On May 20, 2020, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the issue of easing quarantine from May 22 will be considered.
The following events are planned to be allowed:
- permission to hold sports competitions, but without spectators;
- opening of hotels (except hostels), but without the functioning of restaurants and gyms in them;
- unlock preparation for external independent testing;
- holding services in temples at the rate of one person per 10 sq. m
- Resumption of public transport.
From May 25, the government will allow the operation of kindergartens and the operation of the subway in those cities where the epidemiological situation allows.
In Kyiv, after May 22, they plan to begin the second stage of easing restrictive measures.
Subject to safety regulations and conditions, they will start working:
- industrial markets,
- large stores up to 1000 square meters,
- gyms and fitness centers, excluding swimming pools.
- ground public transport will start working as usual.
As for the resumption of the work of the metro in Kyiv, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must make an appropriate decision.
