The government introduced the principle of extraterritoriality in the registration of land
On June 3, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the Resolution “Some issues of implementing a pilot project to introduce the principle of extraterritoriality in the state registration of land plots and amending some acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine”
With this resolution, the Government implements the principle of extraterritoriality in the registration of land, according to which the decision to register a land plot can be made by any state cadastral registrar chosen at random by the State Land Cadastre system.
The start of a pilot project to introduce the principle of extraterritoriality in the state registration of land plots is scheduled for June 10 and will last for 2 years.
The term for registering a land plot will also be reduced from 14 to 7 working days.
The resolution also brought into line with the requirements of the current legislation the procedures for conducting and obtaining the results of the state examination of land management documentation in electronic form through the Unified State Portal of Administrative Services and the information systems of the State GeoCadastre integrated with it.
Permissions are granted
In addition, the authority is granted to certified land surveying engineers to correct errors in the application of coordinate systems of land plots (including errors that occurred when converting from one coordinate system to another), which were formed on January 1, 2013 and information about which was transferred to the State land cadastre and errors in information about the location of land plots.
Cancel receipt of cover letter
It also eliminates the need to obtain a cover letter from the relevant territorial body of the State Geocadastre before sending the object of examination to the Central Office. The reliability of the conclusion on the state expertise will be checked through a QR code. Submission of land management documentation for examination online will operate on an ongoing basis.
