A lawyer cannot be unemployed

If he has a valid license to practice law. This is the conclusion reached by the Administrative Court of Cassation of the Supreme Court of Ukraine in its Resolution of March 7, 2020 No. 287/21/15-a.

The plaintiff, a former employee of the prosecutor’s office, who retired on a seniority pension, after being registered with the regulatory authorities as an individual engaged in independent professional activities of a lawyer, the payment of a pension began to be carried out in the amount of 85% of its total amount.
